Year 6 End of Year Play

Last Friday, Year 6 delighted us with their fabulous play about games (old and new), taking us into a world of Monopoly, Cluedo and Chess! It was brilliantly performed by everyone, with heartfelt singing, exciting acting and a plethora of scene/ costume changes. Great work Year 6. With thanks to Mr Davies and Ms Ali for all their hard work, and our excellent vocal coach too!

Sports Day KS1 and 2

On Monday, we held our Sports Day at Paddington Recreation Ground. It was a swelteringly hot day, but despite that we managed to have a great time doing different activities. There was an egg and spoon race, long jump, sprinting and football dribbling amongst other things. We finished with an adults vs Year 6 relay race, which the children easily won! Well done, everyone, and thank you to Mr Pendlebury for organising it.

Today, we awarded children with certificates for their participation, and medals for the children who made the greatest effort and showed the best sportsmanship. We also announced that BLUE team had won this year. Congratulations!

Early Years Sports Day

Early Years had their Sports Day this morning. They did 5 different activities: relay, egg and spoon race, bike race, circle games with a football and a water relay. The children did brilliantly and had a fun time, too! They then delighted us with their pirate song and dance moves. Well done F1 and F2!

Music Masters Concert

It was wonderful to hear the progress made by our violinists and cellists this week at our end of year Music Masters concert. It was particularly lovely to hear all the children playing their instruments together in ensemble pieces. Well done Year 1 and 2!

Foundation Stage Trip to Odds Farm

On Thursday 28th June, F1 and F2 went to Odds Farm in Buckinghamshire. They had a wonderful time stroking different animals and going on tractor rides!
