Year 2 have written to Miss Norman to ask the school to have a ‘Wear it Wild Day‘ on Friday 27th May. They started learning about endangered animals on a trip to London Zoo, and were moved by the plight of animals in our world that are nearing extinction. They then studied a range of different animals, writing reports about them, before writing their persuasive letters to the Headteacher. Posters, which the children made for homework, have now been put up around the school giving information about different at risk animals and asking the school to help.
So, on 27th May, everyone is invited to dress up as their favourite animal and bring a contribution of £1 for WWF (www.wwf.org.uk).
