On Thursday, Year 4 visited Holy Trinity church in Sloane Square. They had been learning about the Trinity in RE last term, and so they were able to look for and explore symbols of the Trinity in this church. The Rector of Holy Trinity church gave the children a wonderful tour (including being able to go up into the pulpit) and helped them to find all the different symbols around the church. The children also learnt about the Eucharist (Holy Communion), and saw the special silver patten and chalice used at the church. One child said ‘this is wonderful, I feel holy just being here.’ Miss Norman used to work at Holy Trinity, so there is a special link between our schools. On the way, we even saw horses from Buckingham Palace!
