At St Mary’s, parents are at the core of our school community and we do everything we can to make sure parents feel supported, included and listened to.
There is a weekly parents’ coffee morning, every Wednesday, run by Mrs Leith our Learning Mentor. Topics for these include: online safety, parenting advice, healthy eating advice and sessions on how to help your child at home with their Maths, English and other subjects. All parents are welcome to attend, whenever they can.
We have an active ‘Friends of St Mary’s’ group who run school community events, such as Summer and Christmas Fairs, International Evening and sports events for the children.
If you have a question or a problem, please come and ask us: we are here to help!
If you have a concern, please raise it according to our SMBS Concerns procedure. In the first instance, we would ask parents to speak to their child’s classteacher, or to Mrs Leith, our Learning Mentor.
Thank you to all our parents for all you do to support your children’s learning and development, and for making St Mary’s such a warm and welcoming place to be.
